Audubon's Oriole is a large, handsome oriole with a black hood, back, wings, and tail contrasting with bright yellow body. It is found in the US only in the dense thorn scrub of the Lower Rio Grande Valley. Unlike most orioles, both sexes have similar plumage. Its rich, slow whistled song carries through dense brush.
