The Grayish Mouse Opossum is a tiny marsupial of dry tropical forests along Mexico's Pacific slope. It is one of the smallest marsupials in North America, with large, dark eyes and a prehensile tail used for climbing. Unlike the Virginia Opossum, it lacks a marsupial pouch and carries its young in a cluster attached to nipples.
