Safety note: Milky sap can cause skin and eye irritation.

Flowering Spurge is a native wildflower of dry, open habitats across eastern and central North America with delicate, white-bracted flowers that resemble baby's breath. Its milky sap deters most browsers but the pollen and nectar attract many small bees and flies. It blooms from June through October, providing late-season nectar in dry, open habitats.
