Pacific Dogwood is the western counterpart of flowering dogwood, producing spectacular large, white-bracted flowers in spring and again in fall. It is the provincial flower of British Columbia and grows in moist forest understories from British Columbia to California. Its red berries in fall are consumed by many birds including band-tailed pigeons and Steller's jays.
