The Orange-winged Amazon is one of several Amazon parrot species that have established feral populations in Florida from escaped cage birds. The yellow and blue face patches and orange wing speculum distinguish it from similar Amazons. Large roosts form in suburban neighborhoods near Miami, where they forage on fruiting trees.
