Texas Sleepydaisy is a native annual or biennial wildflower of dry plains and prairies in Texas and the southern Great Plains, producing bright yellow daisy flowers that open in the morning and close in the afternoon. It blooms from June through October and is one of the more common late-season wildflowers of dry southern prairies. Native bees visit the flowers regularly.
