Safety note: Dangerous — observe from a safe distance.

The Mountain Lion is the largest wild cat in North America, capable of leaping 18 feet vertically and 40 feet horizontally. It is a solitary ambush predator that drags prey into secluded areas and covers kills with debris for later feeding. Despite its wide range from Canada to South America, it is seldom seen due to its secretive, crepuscular habits.
