The Orchard Orb Weaver is a small, jewel-like spider with a silvery-green body and orange-red spots on the abdomen that twinkles in sunlight. It builds horizontal orb webs in shrubs and low vegetation, sitting in the center underneath the web. One of the most beautiful small spiders in the East, it is common in gardens, orchards, and shaded forest understory.
