Scott's Oriole is a desert-adapted oriole of yucca, juniper, and pinyon habitats in the southwestern US. The male is a striking lemon-yellow and black bird that nests in yucca plants, hanging its woven pouch from the drooping yucca leaves. Its clear, flute-like song is reminiscent of the Western Meadowlark.
