The Statira Sulphur is a large, pale sulphur butterfly that is a vagrant to extreme southern Florida and Texas from the tropics. Males are cream-white with yellow-green patches; females are white with dark forewing borders. It occasionally establishes temporarily in South Florida when cassias are available as host plants. It is a fast, powerful flier associated with coastal scrub and open areas.

Coastal tropical scrub and gardens; rare vagrant to South Florida
Diet
Larvae: senna and cassia species. Adults: nectar
