The Pamina Silkmoth is a medium-sized silkmoth of the South and Southwest with rusty-brown forewings and striking hindwing eyespots surrounded by blue and black. Females are larger than males and both sexes are attracted to lights. The caterpillar bears stinging spines like the related Io Moth, capable of causing significant skin irritation on contact.
