Highbush Blueberry is a tall native shrub of bogs, wetland edges, and moist forests that is the parent of most commercial blueberry cultivars. Its white bell-shaped flowers in spring are followed by abundant blue-black berries in summer that attract an enormous variety of wildlife. It provides excellent year-round habitat structure in wetland communities.
