Marsh Hedgenettle is a native wildflower of wet habitats across North America, producing whorls of pink-to-purple flowers along square stems in summer. Bumblebees are its primary pollinators. The starchy tubers were eaten by indigenous peoples of the Pacific Northwest, and the plant provides ground-level cover in wetland and riparian habitats.
