Starry Campion is an elegant native wildflower of dry, open forests and woodland edges, producing white flowers with deeply fringed petals that glow softly in shaded forest settings. It blooms from July through September and provides nectar for hawk moths and swallowtail butterflies. The fringed petals guide long-tongued pollinators to the nectar spur.
