The Yellow Warbler is the most widespread warbler in North America, breeding from Alaska to Mexico and found in willows and shrubs along virtually every waterway. Males are brilliant yellow with rufous streaks on the breast. It is a frequent host of Brown-headed Cowbird nest parasitism and sometimes responds by building a new nest floor over the cowbird egg, creating multi-story nests.
