The Slender Harvest Mouse is a small, delicate harvest mouse of tropical and subtropical forests and forest edges in Mexico, Belize, and Guatemala. It is more slender than most other harvest mice with a relatively long tail and large eyes. Like all Reithrodontomys, its upper incisors are grooved—the key field character of the genus.
