The Hobomok Skipper is a medium-sized, colorful skipper with bright orange-yellow wings and dark borders, common in wooded areas of the Northeast. Females occur in a striking dark morph called 'pocahontas' that is largely dark brown with minimal orange. Adults are fast, powerful fliers that visit flowers in sunny glades and forest edges.
