The Cloudless Sulphur is a large, brilliant lemon-yellow butterfly that makes notable fall migrations along the Atlantic and Gulf coasts. Males are unmarked bright yellow above, while females have scalloped black borders. Its fast, direct flight and preference for tubular red and orange flowers make it conspicuous in gardens and open habitats.

Larvae: senna and cassia plants. Adults: nectar especially from tubular flowers
