Rocky Mountain Penstemon is a handsome native wildflower of dry mountain slopes and sagebrush flats in the central Rockies, with vivid blue-to-purple tubular flowers on tall, multi-stemmed plants. It is highly drought-tolerant and one of the most showy wildflowers of Colorado and Utah mountain parks. Many bees and hummingbirds visit the flowers.
