The Connecticut Warbler is one of the most secretive and sought-after warblers in North America, notorious for skulking in dense vegetation and being one of the last migrants to pass through in spring. Despite its name, it is rarely found in Connecticut and migrates through the Great Lakes region in spring. It breeds in spruce-tamarack bogs in Canada and Minnesota.
