The Green Peach Aphid is one of the world's most economically important pest insects, a tiny, pale green aphid capable of explosive population growth through parthenogenesis and one of the most efficient vectors of plant viruses. Winged forms migrate between summer host plants and overwinter on peach and other Prunus. Ant species farm dense colonies for honeydew secretions.
