Illustration of Sulphur-bellied Flycatcher (Myiodynastes luteiventris)

The Sulphur-bellied Flycatcher nests in the US only in sycamore-lined canyons of southeastern Arizona. Its loud, squeaky call sounds like a squeezed rubber duck. The bright yellow underparts and rufous tail distinguish it from similar flycatchers. It winters in South America and is a late arrival to Arizona.
