The Key West Quail-Dove is a plump, ground-hugging dove of tropical forests that is resident in Cuba and the Bahamas, occasionally appearing in the Florida Keys. The iridescent green-purple crown and white facial line are distinctive. Like other quail-doves, it walks quietly through forest leaf litter, making it very difficult to observe.
