The Crested Myna is an Asian starling that established a feral population in Vancouver, British Columbia beginning in the 1890s, making it one of the earliest introduced birds in North America. The Vancouver population has now nearly disappeared. A small number of birds remain in the lower mainland of British Columbia and San Juan Islands.
